It's Official! There's Another Comings!

Judy and I had the privilege of watching the "delivery" of our youngest grandchild this morning. It took place in the Polk County Courthouse in Bartow, FL, under the shadow of the Mesa Polka Ridge. Here is Daniel's statement about the event. 

Harvey, through no fault of his own, is now officially, and forever will be my son! He's now a Comings, with all the rights, privileges and responsibilities that goes along with it!

Beyond that, he's a daily reminder of my status before God: For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. (Romans 8:14-17)
