We each have different tastes. Some look at a mansion such as the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, and think how wonderful it would be to live in such luxury. Others think of the maintenance involved in terms of economy, physical upkeep (including housekeeping), personnel management, and even social standing. The more a person possesses the more it possesses the person and the more tragic can be the end of the story. In many such places which Judy and I have visited, the last chapter speaks of the financial set-backs of the builder and the impoverishment of his heirs.
