By grace are we saved and only by faith,
And
not of itself can it be.
If
it were we could boast; but forgetting the most,
By
the gift of God’s grace we’re set free.
Thanks be to God for such grace freely
given,
For sinners like you and like me,
Sending Jesus to die on Calvary’s Tree,
And prepare us a new home in heaven.
Our fears and our sorrows are
taken away,
With eternity’s values in
view.
Every day is more blessed than
ever before,
With God’s love, grace and
mercy anew.
